Killian Carver

History Killian Carver was raised in relatively idyllic surroundings as the child of a member of ambassadorial missions to Fexao, Malva, Kalishari, and other distant worlds. He found himself embroiled in a number of trivial adventures with locals on a variety of worlds, and picked up a number of skills and some education that made him a target for recruitment, first for a stint in the Terran Army Special Forces (which took advantage of his contacts on a number of worlds and knowledge of their cultures), and then his later recruitment by the Terran Intelligence Command.

He gradually drifted from Cultural Liason to Covert Operative, eventually specializing in political intrigue. He developed a habit of maintaining separate identities during this time, and his parents were unaware of most of his more dangerous activities. He was rewarded an exceptionally long life for winning a strategic bout in the Malvan gladiatorial games.

Since leaving the military, he has depended more and more on technical skills to find work and fulfill his wanderlust, and thus has concentrated his progression in that area, especially since the crew gained possession of the Builder-tech-level ship "Mercury." Killian has gone so far as to create an AI robot companion named Micah, whom he continues to upgrade as time goes on.
