Formed in 1988, Course Of Empire are associated with the industrial scene. Their early shows were accompanied by drums placed in the audience, though as they got bigger this practice stopped. Their sounds was driven by having two drummers on stage, overlayed with industrial sounds. They also incorporated world music sounds. They broke up in 1998.
