Formed in the late 1970s as experimental instrumentals. They added singer Joe Papa in the early 1980s to try and get some mainstream attention with varied success. Their sound varies greatly from album to album going from pure ambient styles to heavy industrial styles, including elements of jazz and experimental aspects. They continue on, though a number of side projects habe popped up over the ages.
