The Church
The Church are an Australian band that formed in 1980. Their original sound was associated with New Wave, they have been associated with Prog-Rock since the early 1990s. They gained a siginificant amount of fame in Australia, minor fame in Europe, but their possible fame in the US was stunted by lack of label backing.
