Cheb I Sabbah
DJ Cheb I Sabbah was born in Algeria of Jewish decent. In the 1960s he moved to paris and became a DJ. By the 1980s he was mixing music from around the world into his sets. In the late 1990s as the 'World Music' explosion took full hold he started to produce his own songs and release albums.
