Johnny Cash
Johnny Cash came to prominence in the 1950s, recording from 1954 right up to his death in 2003. Cash is known as the Man In Black, whose signature opening line was "Hello, I'm Johnny Cash". One of the most prominent country singers of the twentieth century, he also recored rock, rockabilly, gospel, and covered songs from all genres. He is arguably one of the biggest influences on American Music in the twentieth century.
