Black Flag

Black Flag formed in Sothern California in 1977 first as Panic and by 1979 were Black Flag. By 1981 Henry Rollins joined the band and they quickly gained acclaim in the Hardcore scene out of So-Cal in the early 1980s. By 1985 the band had broken up and gone their separate ways. Many consider Black Flag to be the first Hardcore band, or at the very least one of the most important ones.
