Apocalyptica
Formed in the early 1990s by four classicaly trained cellists, they played a local Finnish club performing Metallica Covers. They obtained a records deal in the mid-1990s and their first few albums were only covers of other metal songs. As time went on they started to perform their own songs, and only covering other bands occasionally as of the late 2000s they performed their own songs, and are three cellists and a drummer.
