Powerful mages have been known to make it rain fire from the sky, have lava errupt from the ground, and simply immolate an enemy with a gesture. Conjuration is the art of forming arcane energies to the needs of the Mage. It is not considered an inherently 'evil' school of magic (that's reserved for Chaos Magics), but a juxtoposition to the Light Element. It isn't uncommon for a mage to be skilled in both Light and Shadow as a balance of forces.
